Tell Missouri lawmakers to protect you from manipulative lawsuit lending practices!

Missouri lawmakers are considering HB 2771 which would put protections into place to stop a growing trend in our judicial system that allows private investors with no ties to the injured party or issues, called third party litigation financers, to pay for lawsuits in exchange for a portion of the award settlement. This manipulative practice is often unregulated and secretive.

Common-sense oversight and transparency of lawsuit lending is needed to ensure protections for the consumer, keep the litigation process integrity intact, and bring balance to the civil justice system.

Now is the time for policymakers to enact reforms to protect Missouri’s consumers and businesses. Tell lawmakers to vote FOR HB 2771!
